Don't get me wrong, i think they are a great car brand but,
It seems to me that their designs have always been safe and conservative. Even until the mid 2000's they were still building boxy looking cars, i.e you see alot of flat plain surfaces, no sharp angles, rather flat, unimaginative fronts etc. Although now that appears to be changing somewhat, but it still cannot compare to how BMW or MB design vehicles. On the other hand the success of the TT model perhaps proved that safe styling still works i guess ?
And secondly, for a long time been Audi has been in the shadows of BMW, MB and VW but is now becoming a major player in its own right,
What are your thoughts ?
