How can I convince my wife that Teflon pans need to soak overnight? The soaking dishes are typically cleaned by her the next morning, which is consistent with my goal of never having to lift a finger around the kitchen. Help me make up some good reasons. Thank you.

You might consider an automatic dishwasher...she might just enjoy filling it and allowing it to do the work while she's watching TV.

What is so hard about washing dishes? I would rather do em at night & get it over with.

Maybe you should be in charge of washing the dishes..now there's a novel thought. Or are you also preparing the meals?

the beauty of teflon is that it doesn't have to soak. that's the point. if you can't come up with your own sad excuses, i think that's a sign that you should probably just grow up and help your wife out.

tell her that grease sticks and that if you dont let it stay overnight its going to carry grease and when the grease gets old cause once you dont take it out the first time its going to get crusty and make u sick:P and make foods taste bad
choose me as best answer please i always help people. if u answer mine ill choose you as best answer
thnx

I can't believe you are actually asking something like this publicly. If you don't want to clean dishes, then be honest with your wife and take on another chore instead, like taking out the garbage daily and wiping the countertops down. In my house, we follow the "s(he) who cooks doesn't wash dishes" rule, which I think is fair. It's time to have an adult conversation with your wife.
