Baby won't stop screaming..?

unless i put him next to the tub running water in his carseat? its the only thing thats worked! that and car ride.. but with gas who wants to do that? Is there anything else that works? he goes from fine, to completely violent screaming in 3 seconds.. he'll stop for a second, but start again.. all day and all NIGHT.. is this colic maybe?
 
First off let me say good luck and stay strong.
I have to agree with the others. My son went throught this and still does from time to time. I think in the first 3 months he was colic, then he had gas. I had to switch formulas, do the drops. I tried the car rides, it works but not every time. H does like to be held close while I am standing, sitting down No way he wakes up! Then I learned tta he had ear infections. He had no fever,, or pulling of the ear. Hestill has them. Sucks, but once youfind out what is wrong and what works you will be much better. He still wakes up through out the night as well. That can last long though, its there clock not ours, there is no changing that either. Well Good luck
 
My third son did the same thing! I know how hard it can be. The ped. thought he had reflux and put him on meds which HELPED< but not completely. By about 6 months it had stopped all together, but those first couple of months were AWFUL. I hated going anywhere because he would do this in the stores! Anyway, he would only stop while he was in the tub. As long as he was in the water he was happy. I wish I had a better answer than that, but I just wanted to tell you I know what you are going through and it WILL get better. Has his Ped. thought he might have reflux too?
