Bad luck America

Skulled a sixpack of Okinawan beer last night. It's good stuff.

Was doing fine until I decided to mix it with Kahlua and later some weird sake+mango crap drink.

*makes hungover zombie noises*

Use it to wash the dog.

I'm enjoying a Bridgeport IPA. Just had a taste for something hoppy and crisp. And no I don't want any fried rabbit.

Ewww, That's rough. Beer and liqueurs do not mix well at all. I made the mistake of drinking beer, peach schnapps, champagne and ouzo in the course of an evening. Fun night, followed by a couple bad days (New Years eve 1988). However, the worst hangover ever was caused by drinking half a gallon of Gallo red wine (el cheapo supremo) in under three hours. You could actually make me queasy just by mentioning the word wine to me for the next month.

I hear you mate, my worst drinking experience came from wine.

I drank 4L of CHEAP ($4 a cask) white wine in an hour, and proceeded to have alcohol posioning for a week. Cant drink white wine anymore or I just gag and throw it up straight away.

My stomach was so damaged from all the throwing up, when I drank coke (stupidly) 2 days later, I was screaming on the ground. My stomach literaly felt like it was being burnt.

One of the top beers. Very very nice stuff. They sell them by the 1.25L bottles here, and they provide a nice hit .

In Australia, its more the older drivers that get caught drink driving. When you've just got your license, its hardly worth losing it for a VERY long time just so you can get home easier. Its just that when they do drink drive, they are VERY VERY drunk.

The legal driving limit here for a P plate (17-21ish) is 0. Not 1 single drop of alcohol. Police are EVERYWHERE doing random breath tests.

Recently? That all changed, or at least at the bigger bases, in the mid 80's I got out in 89 and for most of my time in had to go over seas to drink. We could get the tax free liqour when we were returning to port from extended duty but could still not drink on base or off in Great Lakes or Norfolk.

Ditto, drank 4or5 bottles of cheap champagne from a street vendor in Naples, Italy once. I had a hangover for 4 days.

yeh, i was not a happy chappie with my hangover yesterday.

worst hangover ever came from skulling pretty much everything in sight, including sambuca, vodka, apple sours, a few beers, tequila, wine and some nasty chick drinks. and i went to watch a cricket match the next day. ugh.

in japan the legal driving amount is also 0, for everyone. but pretty much everyone here sticks to it because there are hectic penalties if you get caught, and EVERYONE knows about it.

about a month ago, one of the teachers at a friend's school got into his car smashed out of his mind, ended up driving into someone and dragging his body all the way down the road. now teachers can't even really drink in public here any more without someone throwing us a dirty look. we had to have our moon viewing party indoors.
