To start out my blu-ray player is my Laptop (Acer Aspire 7720-9395).
Tested about 8 of my blu-ray discs and they function as usual. Recently bought the "Batman Begins' blu-ray disc and when I start it, it is good. It shows the WB logo, the warnings, the rating and then when it moves on it goes to a screen with a little spinning disc and just stops to operate.
I am thinking about a couple things...
- My firmware needs an update because the warning in the disc box says "for a better experience please update the firmware" problem is I don't know how to do that for a laptop.
- Disc cannot be read, but then again it reads all the titles and rating page etc.
I would really love some advice and/or answers because I really want to experience this on my laptop. This is plain ridiculous if I have to have an update to watch this movie, I am in the Army and in the middle of a desert, this is my only source of entertainment thus far so I would appreciate any help. Thank you.
