i have two batteries in my vehicle. with a 200a alternator

front battery is a wet acid battery valcraft
rear battery is a heavy duty sealed battery by duralast.

i have a 0 gauge wire power and ground on the battery.as well from alternator to front battery.

what i have realized lately every few weeks or so the terminals on the rear battery have been corroding for some reason just a powder stuff on it thats usually easy to whip off. what would cause this?

The batteries have some air hoes on the corks/lids that facilitates the charging from the batteries through those holes and unto hue terminals which then cause the corrosion. Next time you clean them just put a little grease, oil or transmission fluid over the terminals and your problem will be solved.
Moisture out of the batteries
