Is it normal to have pre-ovulation temps above coverline? I do have a clear thermal shift and a + OPK.

I have a sleep disorder - so my sleep can be somewhat erratic. However, I do get at least 3-4 hours of sleep before taking my temp and I take it at the same time.

Here is my chart

I have a poll ... someone voted anovulatory ... though it doesn't seem that way to me.

Feel free to vote or give your suggestion.
6 hours is very difficult for me.

On FF and Taking Charge of your fertility said 3 hours min is fine ... and considering I only get 3-4 min before I take my temp I feel that is rather consistent.
sophiesmum - I by accident put override on ... how do I remove it?
And - sophiesmum thanks so much for answering my question.

It is ok to get a few pre-ovulation temps that are above your coverline. You do have a clear thermal shift, and fertility friend has given you the solid red coverline and ovulation day. So don't worry! You are supposed to take your temp after at least 3-4 hours of sleep, so you are just fine in that area too. Seeing as though you have a distint thermal shift, then i agree with fertility friend, you have an ovulatory chart. Ignore the person who said it was anovulatory, they obviously don't know what one looks like :)

That's fine. The coverline doesn't actually tell a lot- all it is is a visual tool for you to look at. It doesn't mean that any temps preO above it means you didn't ovulate. I think there is definitely a thermal shift.

Take your override off (which I'm guessing you have on, as it's a blue line?) and set it back to advanced. FF is very good at detectign with accuracy xx

I don't think that's an anovulatory chart.

--edit--
my VIP membership has just expried, but will try to do this from memory. Go to your chart, scroll down to your stats (the bit that tells you how well your BD timing etc was, traffic lights etc). It will say method, and "tuning/ override". Click on this, then click on "remove" (in relation to your override settings). Then select "advanced". You may not get your Xhairs until tomorrow's temp, or you may get them today. But that is not an anovulatory chart xx

normally u need 6 hours to get a right tempi
it goes up when you ovulate and stays higher when u are pre..

good luck
