A University of Texas study says that attractive people are happier than ugly people. I’m not sure this is groundbreaking news.
“Part of the reason we find that beauty raises people’s happiness is the fact that it also makes them earn more,” Daniel Hamermesh, professor of economics at the University of Texas at Austin said.
Well that definitely makes sense. It’s been proven through numerous studies that attractive people have an advantage in the work place, when it comes to landing jobs, raises and promotions.
But that doesn’t mean ugly people are out of luck…it just means they might have to work harder or develop their personality to get noticed as much as the beautiful people. Read more about the study at CBS News.
