i'm doing a research essay on before and after of islam in the arabian pennsulia can anyone answer the following??
------ALL THIS IS BEFORE ISLAM----
- religion?... i know its polytheist but did it have a name
- death- burial
- birth
- marriage
- role of men and women??

IT DUE TOMORROW
BTW-----I KNOW ABOUT JEDUSIM AND CHRISTIANITY

Phew, you waited far too long and this is the wrong forum to get the amount of material you need to even start answering your assignment.

I can get you started, but you'll have to do the rest yourself, probably with some really good, detailed histories or encyclopedias (and wikipedia is a weak substitute).

Because you are dealing with a culture that precedes a major religious movement that spread very rapidly, you will need to do a lot of research on the individual cultures. The one link I'm providing is actually on Islam itself, but because it defines the scope and history of the religion, it can provide a starting point for the rest of your research (possibly via some of the links).

Hint: look in the History section of the article.
