Beginner sport bikes for someone who's completed the MSF course..?

I've just completed the MSF course (Motorcycle safety course) and was wondering if the Kawasaki R6 would be a good beginner bike for me? Training on a traditional 250cc bike seemed pretty easy.. I would hate to buy a Kawasaki 250r and regret it..

FYI I'm 27 years old and a very safe driver.. I'm not going to be crazy with the bike.. It's just the R6 is a lot better looking then the 250r..
