my family is beginning the Dave Ramsey plan on 1 March...we've been hacking away at our monthly budget, and trying to figure out where/how to cut costs. we'd like our weekly grocery budget to be about $60. we have 2 adults, a 5 year old boy and an almost 1 year old girl. (we get WIC, so we don't have to worry about the cost of milk, eggs, cheese, etc). we need to have 3 meals a day as well as snacks, because the wife babysits a 2 year old as well. can anyone give us ideas on how to manage this budget? menu/recipe ideas? websites to check out? i'm in the Air Force, so we can shop at the commissary, which already saves a bundle...but we really need to pare down our budget. thanks.

costs me about 100 a week for a family of four. I start with the basic ingredients we like such as pork / beef /chicken then list the sides we like to choose from such as stuffing/ potato/rice then a vegetable I keep those in the house as i use i replace and choosing from a list like a menu helps me keep things varied.
