The Pittsburgh Steelers were hopeful that Ben Roethlisberger would be able to play this weekend in their key game against the Baltimore Ravens. Unfortunately, for Pittsburgh, that won’t happen. Roethlisberger’s shoulder injury will keep him out at least another week.
The Steelers won’t even have their backup quarterback because Byron Leftwich is dealing with fractured ribs. So, instead, the Steelers will turn to Charlie Batch. The 37-year-old struggled last week and has a huge task ahead of him this weekend.
There is some good news in Pittsburgh. Wide receiver Antonio Brown is set to return, as is star safety Troy Polamalu.
