Looking to book my first cruise trip and I would like it to be all inclusive. Any suggestions on which cruise line/website to go through would be helpful.
All lines charge extra for drinks, gratuities, shore excursions etc. No matter who you go with you get a big extras invoice under the door on the last night!
Chose your destination as the priority - suggestion Princess to Alaska (if any space left) which was our first cruise - INCREDIBLE.
No cruise is completely all inclusive. Alcohol and tips are always extra. So are shore excursions, spa treatments, even soda. What a cruise does include is your cabin, all your meals EXCEPT those in specialty restaurants, entertainment, plus coffee or tea or milk. Fancy coffee's are extra BTW. Some European river cruises include more or the high end cruise companies such as Chrystal cruise lines. But most others are like what I said. Still, cruising is a very good deal unless you drink a lot.
Unfortunately cruise are rarely all inclusive! They are still a good value and include MOST of your food, your stateroom and your entertainment! Liquor, soft drinks and shore excursion when you get off the ship in different ports is where it can start to add up on your bill. I have a great travel agent that would be able to help answer all your questions and it wouldn't cost you anything more - shoot me an email if you would like her contact info. I also find alot of information on cruisecritic.com - lots of reviews on all different cruise lines. Just sailed on the Allure of the Seas and it was amazing!
