Best Audio Equipment to get for start-up band?

Me and a few of my friends are starting up a Christian Metal band. Where is the best place to get good cheep audio equipment (1/4 in male to male cable, Mixer's and such) Preferably offline in the southern Arizona area, but online will work too.
