Best country to travel to..somewhere beautiful but unique?

Every spring break since I can remember I never did anything unique or special....I always wished I could go out of the country but never had the money to do so. I am planning to bust my *** and save so that by next spring break I can have the trip of a lifetime. I'll be in my last year of college by then with no kids/major responsibilities and the possibilities seem endless...I'd like to know a great country (and region) to visit. Something different, beautiful, exotic...I'm open to any/all suggestions.=)Please don't suggest Mexico..not because it isn't breathtaking but because I go there regularly to visit family....I mean somewhere new!

go to Egypt, visit the pyramids, exotic. or Rome,the Colosseum. ooh, or go to Translevania! that would be different. i went to Ireland, beautiful. fell head over heels with the irish boys, thats for sure. ^0^ omg. i never wanted to leave. i kissed the blarney stone. i think i was the grossest thing i've ever done...probably not, but it sounded good. when i'm old it won't matter.
