Alright so i hunt private land owned by a family friend. he has 400 acres in south texas. mainly used for cattle he has white tails all over it. I am wanting to know the best nutrition licks that i can take down there and put out and maybe make one extra trip per year to change them out. or maybe leave a few extras down there and see if he will keep an eye on them.
I know helping the deer reach their full potention needs alot more then licks but that is all he will let me do at this point besides maybe setting up a feeder. for me to get doin there it is about a 5 hour drive so again im lookin for something that is, for the most part, self sestaining. what are the best licks that have the highest nutritional value and is safe for cattle. i know both tractor supply company and academy have 50lb blocks for no more then $10 but again lookin for the ones that will do the most good.
