I don't want him playing video games or watching movies, T.V. I want some kind of outdoor game, or fun family game he'll enjoy.

Take him/her out for the day. Go to London and see the sights. If you live near Birmingham go a a train journey to see the German Christmas market and have a meal out. When all's said and done kids really do value the TIME you give them. So even if it's only the local park and a trip to Pizza Hut it's the fact that you took them and spent time with them that counts. I sincerely believe that this is true.

you can get one of those new bop-it bounce things. my cousins have them and they are great indoor and outdoor games, in case of a rainy day. also chalk, badminton sets or those three-in-one outdoor game sets are fun as well.
