Best luxury SUV for your buck?

I am looking for a nice luxury SUV in the next 6 months. My buddy has a Navigator and I love it. So much room for sitting and enjoying a nice smooth ride. Lots of seats for many people to join. AWESOME ride. Only thing is I don't know if I want to get the same ride my friend has. My price range is between 12 - 15k. NO MORE! I know there is some car buffs in here that could steer me in the right direction, and that's exactly what I am looking for. Thanks everyone in advance!
 
Navigator is a great ride but according to your price range it would not seem like a good fit. I would recommened the Ford Escape which is not the same as the Navigator. You could also go and try looking at the Nissan Xterra and Mercury Mariner. In the end it is up to you to go to the dealerships, test drive your options and pick the one you enjoy. Hope this helps.
 
A Chevy Tahoe with leather seats, tinted windows and custom wheels would be good idea.
