Best places (Hotel and/or destination) for a first teen holiday?

Right, im going on my first holiday without parents and with some friends. Its not that I haven't researched anywhere its just that I want personal opinions on places We are not excessive drinkers but would like a bit of night life, plus, we are thinking a budget of £350 tops. If any of you guys can help then its greatly appreciated!

It would be great if you mention your taste i.e. are you a beach lover or like to explore natural/historical places etc.? Try out travelers social networks/sites you will get better ideas for your holidays.
