Best product(s) for wireless internet connection?

I recently was given a laptop & kindle fire for my birthday but can't get internet connection since most of the wifi in my area are secured and require passwords which of course I don't have access to. I was thinking that maybe I could purchase a wireless internet service but don't know what would be a good buy. I don't have cable or a landline phone service. I'm in the process of taking a few online courses that would require me to streamline audio/video and I'll need to be able to take them both with me when I travel. Also if it would help, I would have to spend about 3-4 hours a day online so I figure I'd need a plan to accommodate. Thank you all in advance!

Sorry my dear but if you want internet service, you will have to pay for it (thankfully all networks around you are secured, you would be leeching off other people's service with is pretty low). If any, go to some "Free wi-fi" locations, like Starbucks, Burger King, or so...

Since you want to stream videos, don't bother with DSL, you will have to call your service provider and get cable installed (even if just for internet and with TV). Depending on the speed you chose, figure about 50 bucks/month for a decent cable connection. If you want to use wireless, you also have to purchase a router. Enjoy!!
