It depends on what your looking for???
Family vacation or party trip?
I think that Ft. Walton & Destin are nice for a family beach trip.
Amelia Island & St Augustine are nice as well. Of course if your looking for theme parks, that would be Orlando. I'm not sure about where the party people hang out except Daytona & Miami.
