I'm trying to fly out of dallas to detroit in mid January and trying to figure out what's best. I've applied for an airline credit card, but was told they need more time to decide on whether or not i've been accepted (i'm planning on the worst scenario.) So if i save, i could get enough for the tickets in about a month or so, but only if they increase only slightly. That's why i'm considering getting a small loan to get the tickets now, so that i essentially "lock-in" the lower price right now. But then i'd have to figure in interest and charges. Any advice?
