Bike Assembly - Do it myself or not?

Bought a bike off the internet. Seller says some assembly will be required. Don't know anything about bikes, but I'm pretty handy with tools. The LBS wants 75-100 bucks to put it together. Should I take a shot at it myself or Pony-up the extra dough? It's a Hybrid.

Hybrids aren't all that difficult to put together and for the most part you probably wont have any difficulty with it however since you are not familiar with bike mechanics there are certain parts of this bike that should not be over tightened such as the stem ( if so equipped) and various other parts. Put together as much as you can yourself and then I would highly recommend that you take it to your LBS and let them check your work and they may possibly charge you a bit less if you do most of the legwork ....
