I am 18, my boyfriend and I decided that I should get on birth control but we're new at this, so it would be great if you guys could answer these questions.
What do I need to look for in a doctor, girl or guy?
What should I expect going there for the first time?
How long will it take to get my birth control pills from the time I see the doctor?
How long do I need to wait to have unprotected sex?
I had my period December 2-9..can I start the birth control now or do I have to wait until my next period in January?
Anything else we should know?
Sorry for the overload but my boyfriend and I want to have sex without condoms but do it safely with birth control.
