birthcontrol? whats the best? whats the worst?

hey, im looking to switch at the end of my three months OFF of depo. it has left me with horrible side effects. mood swings, depression, cramps and a bunch of other things. i am looking for a birthcontrol that doesnt::
give you crazy bad moodswings
lets you have a period(yes i actually WANT one.)
wont make you depressed
no weight gain problems
not painfull(the shot stings!)
but has a 99.8%+ chance of keeping you from getting pregnate.

can you let me know the negitives and possitives of the birthcontrol and how long you've been on it? let me know some storys or anything to persuade me to take that method or not to. plus&minus situations wanted.

Every woman is different obviously, ive been on depo for a while and I love it.. My friend swears by the nuva ring though and says its amazing and it doesnt have the huge amount of hormones that depo does which is good.
