Bit Torrent.com Question?

i was wondering if downloading bittorrent,com is safe because i got a virus from limewire and i dont want it to happen again and when i went to get it fixed the Geek Squad guys said i should use bit torrents but he didnt tell me from where so i need help on this one

You only get viruses if you download viruses. Scan everything after you download it, and check the comments for the torrent. (Also, use uTorrent, it works the same way and downloads the same things, but it works way better than the BitTorrent client.
