Bit Torrent help, please?

My husband just tried to download a couple of movies from bit torrent, but when we went to play them, all we got was the sound but no video. I have all the current players so can someone please tell me what might be wrong? We are new to this whole thing of downloading movies and burning them and so forth so I'm sure it's probably something we are doing wrong. If possible, can you walk me through the process? Thank you!

If you need the codecs they're at www.divx.com otherwise just try VLC like she said, from the trusted source on www.downloads.com Also be careful of viruses from bit torrents.

smplayer an excellent player based on Mplayer engine

You must not have the proper codec installed.

Try downloading VLC. It pretty much plays everthing!
