Bitter in my coffee STILL?

I've used all the suggestions from new filter, non-paper filters, vinegar, & of that & I still have bitter coffee my father in law uses the same brand coffee but it tastes awesome...he uses a glass coffee pot where ours is stainless steel would that make a difference in the bitterness? I need help I'm so sick of bitter coffee
 
Have you ran the coffee maker with denture tablets? I know it sounds weird but 2 tabs and pot of water make my machine run like new.
 
Staneless steel should not make a difference however after the vinegar did you run through water 4 or 5 times? also how you store your coffee could somehow change that. I have no experience to back the storage up but i have forgot to clean out the pot enough times after the vinegar
