White is more feminine but I know guys who have had white phones.
I own a white iPhone. If you don't mind cleaning it every so often it should be good.
If you wear foundation, it better be good or you'll be smearing it on the phone during phone calls unless you use headphones.
Black is nice too. But silver looks best. Only on the iPhone 5 though.
