Hi.
I've a BlackBerry Bold 9700 Smartphone since late July of this year.
I've had no problems at all with it up until yesterday evening when I look at my screen and there were pixelated or barcode like marks on the lock screen.
I unlocked the device and they promptly disappeared.
I lightly pressed the screen in various places to test why this was happening and to my horror I realised that when the bottom right corner was pressed with a small amount of force the left side of the screen would turn pixelated/barcode, but when I launched an application that would disappear, I locked the screen again and cleaned it very gingerly like always when all of a sudden, the whole screen went white and turned off.
Now,
I have never misused my phone, never dropped it, it's always in it's silicone case with a screen protector since the day it was bought.
My question to you is,
What is after happening to my phone?
and
Should I contact my service provider and see if I can get them to replace the phone?
or should I not say anything and just order another Bold or a Curve 3G?
I know it's a Hell of a read but I'm in desperate need of help!
