On Sunday I dropped my Blackberry Bold into the kitchen sink.
It was in there at the most for 3 seconds.
As soon as it happened I pulled the phone out disassembled it (battery/sim card/memory card)
Then placed all pieces including the handset into a bag of uncooked rice.
I placed the bag onto of my bedroom furnace to place some heat upon it.
I noticed that my water indicators (litmus paper) are still white and did not change colour at all. Thus meaning minimal to no damage was done.
If i leave my phone as is till Thursday morning (4 days) will it be okay?
If the phone does not respond after those four days is it possible that I take the phone to my phone provider and tell them that the system is glitching and my phone randomly shuts down etc and that is why I am brining the handheld back in rather than say that I dropped it in water accidentally?
I know a few of you will say what I am doing is unethical etc etc but honestly I don't care you can take that somewhere else because you will be ignored.
Because the litmus paper did not turn red, will I be provided with a new handheld?
(I will only take it in if the phone does not respond Thursday morning)
Thanks!
