Blackberry pearl flip phone - Are they good phones?

I text A LOT so i wanna know if they are easy to text on. Does it use T9 or a regular keyboard? Just a bit confused

Regular, but get an iPhone. Texting id much easier on it. If you dont have enough for a new one, get a used 3rd gen.
