blackberry pearl on rogers?

alright, i just upgraded my chocolate phone to the newest sony ericson walkman phone, but it got stolen. so im thinking of buying the new blackberry pearl. can i get it on my same plan? like im going tonight to get a new sim card for my old chocolate phone for the mean time, but when i do get the blackberry pearl, can i just use that sim card?
