Blackberry Pearl?

My mom bought me a unlocked blackberry pearl she thought it was from the manufactures, but it was a t-mobile phone. I was woundering i can still get internet service on it or do i have to download the att software?
 
your have to get the program from your provider. they are going to have to text it to you.
