Blackberry Torch 9800 touchscreen not working?

when i reset by using, 'alt' 'caps' and 'del' my touchscreen works after but after a little while it stops working. Also, typing with my keyboard becomes laggy on the screen, i have no idea what's going on i take good care of my phone..I'm guessing this is why people complain about blackberries lagging/freezing because mine is beginning to after having it for almost 3 years. Do you think a software update may solve the problem?

Also once everything stops working, the trackpad doesn't work when you flip open the keyboard? so you must use trackpad only when its not slid open... :(

if problem after having 3 years then you should repair one time in blackberry service center by providing some charges. i hope, your problem will be solve very soon.
