blackberry tour keeping old number?

last night i unlocked my blackberry tour. now, i want to give it to my friend, but when we put his SIM card in, it still sends and receives texts from my number, not his. what should i do? i want to let him borrow my phone for the weekend.

if you have a sprint blackberry, tell sprint to deactivate your esn from the phone and also switch it to gsm mode, google it
