blackberry troubles! please help?

okay i have a blackberry curve from boost mobile. my A button doesnt work and just my luck my phone was locked and i have an A in my password so now i cant get into it. i went to the store and they said to get another one (one year warrenty) or get on your disk and take off your password but idk how to do it really anyone no i just want my password off
 
you can try like buying another memory card for your phone i guess you can try that? or take it to different stores that charge $$ to do it i once told the store to do it but they want money. Anywys those 2 might work or just wach a video on youtube on what to do if you forget your pass and how to reset
 
I am not too sure if this will work but we'll give it a try. Try to find the letter A somewhere in the text that asks you for the password, and if you can highlight the letter by holding down Alt, and then paste and copy the letter into your password.

I'm not sure this will work, but worth trying.
