blackberry unlocking code?

My cousin gave me a blackberry 7100g and when I put my SIM card in it, the phone asks for an unlock code which I have no idea what it is seeing that the phone wasn't mine in the first place. OTHER than calling customer service, does anyone maybe know the unlock code? Or how to find the unlock code for free?

usually the code is the last 4 digits of the phone #

(that is unless the other person changed it...)
