Blackberry wifi and apps wont work?

I recently got a new blackberry and put in my SIM card and it worked fine so i activated my BB service and tried to log on to my facebook account, it didnt work so i tried twitter and it didnt work so i tried to activate the wifi to try activate them again and it say unable to turn on wifi radio. Please help me i have no clue what could be wrong
 
There might be problems with the service plan you have, or if you are not using a service plan, the sim card.
I also have a blackberry and i used the same sim card from my previous smartphone (where internet and apps worked perfectly) However when i put it in my blackberry, facebook app didnt work, bbm, and even google.com
The problem was I had to go to the company of my service plan and change some settings and a slight different service plan which allows certain apps and internet access.
