A girl from our highscool was called to the office tuesday. She later came out crying, and without her cell phone.
She said that she had received a text on her phone from someones mom while she was in the bathroom. A few minutes after, while she was in class, they called her to the office on the intercom. The vice principal showed her to his office. He pulled up same text she had received on her phone, on his computer. Apparently, our school has bugged the bathroom so they can get our texts using our signal or bluetooth (something like that). Everyone is also saying that he has set up his personal cellphone to receive our texts too. I researched Bluesnarfing and Bluebugging. It sounds like what they are doing, either that, or they're just using illegal devices and firmware.
My question is: first of all, what do you think this is, and is this not against the law? (Not only the devices and software, but the fact that this is an invasion of privacy!!??)
