Bluetooth help!!?

im trying to connect my samsung sch-7400 to a motorola h500
and i did this morning but now when i try itll say its connected but i cant actually use the bluetooth
can someone give my a step by step way of ensuring the connection?

mine does that all the time and i hate it, just turn ur bluetooth and ur phone off and cut them back on and connect them again
