BMW 650i vs. Mercedes-Benz SL500?

I'm aware of the performance differences, but I'm asking specifically about the appearance aspects of the two. In the end, it probably boils down to a metallic silver/black BMW 650i or a red/black Mercedes SL500. Which of these do you think looks the best and why?
