My exact model is a 2007 e93 m sport cab, with 320i non turbo petrol engine
The perforance i feel could be alot better, party to blame may be the weight issues with the metal folding hard top so...
I am planning to add a K&N induction kit and maybee a sprintbox? , and an ECU remap by superchips,
the k&N 57i induction kit, will be about £140 fitted
the ECU-remap will be £240 fitted with extended warranty
so im looking at £380 for the two mods, which will pay for themselves in the coming months, i hope?
i need advice on this sprintbox thinggy though, as im thinkin the ecu re-map will make the services of the sprintbox redundant, or will they?
main reasons for doing the mods are for fuel saving and overtaking peformance in london traffic, i am currently getting around 30 mpg, how much do i stand to gain in mpg and peformance, after i have completed the mods?
also, as the sprintbox increases acceleration, does this mean it will reduce my overall mpg?
