BMW or Mercedez Benz?

I think that the BMW M5 is cool but somebody told me that BMW automobiles are expensive to repair and break down alot. The only problem is I don't know if he is right because he does not have one. Also I like Mercedes Benz I don't know which one I should think about getting for my future car though. So please answer if you have any of these automobiles and tell me which one gets better ratings.
 
BMW! Bro the mercedes is only for stupid looks. Mercedes doesn't know jack about the performance. BMW m5 is pretty awesome but it's not fast when it doesn't have M mode on. But M6 is more cooler. Mercedes costs more to repair. F**K MERCEDES!!! YAY I SAID IT!!!
 
bmw is better mercedes are expensive in both prices to buy and repairs. beemers are not as high priced as mercedes plus you get better performance from a great looking car for a cheaper price
 
when it comes to repairs mercedes is more expensive then bmw..
i like bmws more! the m3 is nice buy the m5 too...
 
Mercs would be more expensive to repair than Beemers. I agree with you that the M5 is pretty sick, but I'd rather have an AMG Merc, preferably an SLK55 AMG. If you want to have people other than just yourself in it though then definitely go with the M5. You won't be disappointed.
 
Benz has more luxury and safety. But it's repairs costs more than BMW's. but maybe you would risk spending more for more safety? a friend was driving a Benz, got in a car crash. She spun 360 like twice and the car was totaled but she got out alive and no broken bones, or anything! and also, Benz is COOLER haha
