Hey recently ive been wanting to put a nice setup in a bmw 325i.
Im looking for some strong bass but at the same time i want to hear the lyrics clearly without the bass out-booming them. I have about 500-600 dollars to work with which includes installation because im not trying to install it myself.
Can anyone show me the way?
thanks for the help but 950 is too high, 600 is max and can i get some names for these "decent" speakers and "decent" sub.

I'm assuming you are in the US, so I'll try to think of this at 800-1000 CAD.

Buy some good fronts to cover your midbass. Let's say about $200 for some decent speakers, $300 for really decent ones.

300 + 60 for install

360 + 150 for a decent sub + 150 for a decent amp + 100 for install

And in fact, what might help most is amplifying your shiny new front speakers, so
750+ 200 for a two channel amp and install.

That's 950, which in your market is probably 600.

Don't do anything to your rear speakers. In fact, most if not all Sound Quality cars don't have any rear speakers because they just mush up the music and cause a lot of acoustic cancellation.
