Im 14 and enjoy bodybuilding. I lift weights and jog etc but I do not have access to a gym. I was wondering if there is any food drink or technique that helps pack muscle on quicker and or burn fat. I hear green tea burns fat. Thanks :)

The gym is a place to train and train properly. That seems like an obvious and unnecessary statement, but I often see people, especially younger individuals, using the gym improperly. Some come to check out the women in aerobics classes, others come to socialize with their friends, and still others come simply to show off and display their strength and power.
While the first two groups are an annoyance to gym goers everywhere, falling into the third category can lead to serious injury. Honestly, no one really cares how much you can lift unless you can heave record-level weights because gym patrons are there to execute their own training.

Lift light weights! Your still growing and lifting heavy would prevent you to stay the same hight! I'm not a body builder but guys who were becoming body builders did this.
Drink only water!(about 2 gallons a day) Nothing else! protein shakes after work outs (muscle milk or whey gold work the best) eat beef! Tones of protein in there do simple work outs as well 2 to 3 sets of push ups in the morning (how ever many you can do) 2 sets of 50 leg lifts or 3 minute crunches (none stop) 2 to 3 sets of 8 pull ups and before you go to sleep do 1 or 2 sets of push ups! Keep your self committed! Don't give up and push your self!

P.s when your working out and when your about to give out (bench press, push ups, pull ups ECT.) Do 5 more extra it heps!

green tee is good because it has natural caffeine's that raze your metabolism and burn fat, when drinking green tee make sure you drink a lot of water throughout the day because caffeine makes can make you dehydrated and when your dehydrated your muscles are weaker and wont heal as fast

Now to build muscle there are 2 things your need, weights and protein
weights: you need to do low reps ( between 4-8) and i sets (4-6), doing this will give you strength and build raw muscle

protein- protien builds muscle, high protein food are key (chicken, fish, eggs, nuts, milk) the more protein the better, i would eat these things 30 min before or after workout

Don't bother lifting until you're older, you will make minimal gains and could stunt your growth.

You need a real training program which you will be properly committed to, it's not about lifting once in a while. You need to get the right; weight, sets, reps, protein intake, calorie consumption, types of exercises, post workout meal etc.. There's alot to know. I suggest you join a proper gym as buying the equivalent for home use is not worth it (costing hundreds of $$$). Almost all gyms have a minimum age of 18.

Also you can't build muscle and burn fat at the same time. Both go hand in hand, building muscle comes with small fat gains while burning fat comes with very small muscle losses.

I think that you believe it or notthe same personal organization and time management that helps you succeed in school is also important in bodybuilding. Because most of us are not professional bodybuilders and therefore have schoolwork jobsand extracurricular activities to worry about the ability to plan and execute is the key to maintaining a consistent diet and workout plan.
