Hello, I'm a 19 year old male and have a question. What is the hard bone above the adams apple and what could possible make it sore (like a bruise sore). It is sometimes sore and sometimes isn't. What could make it tender and sore when pressing on it?
Note: the soreness is on the left side of the bone and I do not have any lumps at all.
