And I'm trying to talk to my friend who lives 2 miles away, but can't reach him. I'd think 2 miles is a reasonable bet for a $150 Military Replica radio but apparently not. I'm using a 1.5ft antenna and it looks pretty good but I can't figure out why I can't reach 2 miles.
