bought new car and there is a picture of mary on the rear view mirror?

i just bought a car and today i realised there is a sticker with a picture of mary on the back of the rear view mirror (the non mirror side)
i want to take it off because i don't believe in flaunting religion, i have a medal with st christopher on it in my wallet which is more private, but i'm worried if i take the picture off i will have a car accident. which i know is superstitious and silly but i can't help having the feeling it will happen.
also it's a manual which i'm currently learning to drive so the chance of my having an accident is huge right now. what do you think? should i leave it or risk it or what?
sorry, it's a second hand car, but it is new to me!
