boxing or mma? which do you prefer? which is more exciting?

i'm asking this in the general sports section because i always get biased answers when i ask in the mma sections and boxing sections
 
MMA is good because obviously they use more moves, but to me the downside is when they both go down on the floor for ages, it can get boring, and boxing seems to be faster paced.

But if it comes to participating, MMA is simply more fun because of the variety, and would be a lot more helpful if it came to a real street fight.
